As an artistic research performer at doctoral level, Felicita Brusoni was selected by the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre to take part in “Doctors in Performance”, the fourth edition festival conference of music performance and artistic research that will take place on 1-3 September 2021 in Tallinn, Estonia.
In the occasion, Felicita will perform “ANAPHORA”, the piece for a solo female voice composed by Michael Edgerton, who is one of the leading expert in the search for the expressive possibilities of contemporary voice. “ANAPHORA” is in fact a study on the expressive potential of the human voice; a kaleidoscope of 56 different categories of vocal multiphonics that shows the wealth that the human carries in vocal expression.
The conference will be held in the new, state-of-the-art performance complex at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, which was opened in 2019 to mark the Academy’s centenary.
